DMZ SharePoint

DMZ: Demilitarized Zone means a domain out side of Firewall.
We have an internal SharePoint Farm on Domain Contoso (for ex). And we want to make it available to our External users via internet.
We can do so by creating a WFE in a domain outside firewall for ex: OuterWorld.
Then we have to create one way trust between Contoso and OuterWorld domains so that OuterWorld domain can recognize Contoso's user authentication.
Questions we can ask are:
Whole farm is in DMZ or only few sites?
What type of authentication was implemented on DMZ
what is the database whether it is SQL or other
User account details etc.
